Latexo School District

The Latexo Athletic Booster Club is looking for members who would like to lead us into the 2026 school year and beyond. We are in need of the following board members: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Our basketball season is quickly approaching and we need to schedule the Cage (concession stand). We have many organizations ready to fill the available dates, but we would like to offer the opportunity to the athletic booster club first. The booster club does many things for our athletic program and probably the most appreciated is offering college scholarships for our senior athletes. If you would like to help with the booster club moving forward, please let Coach Horn know ASAP. We will have a meeting Monday November 10 at 6:00pm along with a girls basketball parent meeting.

Upper level Health Science Club Students had the opportunity to attend the Pre-Health Conference held at The University of Texas at Tyler. Our UIL Academics students braved the rain on Saturday and traveled to UT Austin to attend the Student Activities Conference. Here, they learned more about their individual UIL events, took practice exams, and explored sessions on theatre, STEM, speaking, writing, social studies, computer science, and more. We are looking forward to a successful season! #excellenceisthetigerway

The first volleyball playoff game will be played Friday, Oct. 31 at 5:00pm. We will play Timpson at Central Heights High School in Nacogdoches.
Fan bus and t-shirt information will be posted ASAP!

The girls will have a warm up game Monday night Oct 27 in Groveton at 5pm.
