💚 Latexo JH/HS Holiday Food Drive! 💚 Our Tigers are coming together to make a difference this holiday season! 🐾 We’re collecting non-perishable food items to help local families, and we’d love for our parents and community to join us. 📅 Donations due by Wednesday, November 13th 🎯 Turn in items to your class sponsor — every student is encouraged to bring at least one item! 🧺 Items Needed by Grade Level: 6th — Instant mashed potatoes, canned veggies, granola bars, cereal 7th — Stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, canned fruit, applesauce 8th — Sweet potatoes/yams, peanut butter, beans, crackers 9th — Canned fruit or pie filling, dessert mix, pancake mix, syrup 10th — Gravy, mac & cheese, rice/pasta, pasta sauce 11th — Soup, instant rice sides, oatmeal packets, canned veggies 12th — Canned meats, peanut butter/jelly, snacks, juice or drink mix Every can, box, and pouch helps brighten someone’s holiday! 🎁 Let’s show that Excellence is the Tiger Way through kindness and giving. 💚 #LatexoPride #TigerStrong #FoodDrive #ExcellenceIsTheTigerWay

The Latexo Athletic Booster Club is looking for members who would like to lead us into the 2026 school year and beyond. We are in need of the following board members: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Our basketball season is quickly approaching and we need to schedule the Cage (concession stand). We have many organizations ready to fill the available dates, but we would like to offer the opportunity to the athletic booster club first. The booster club does many things for our athletic program and probably the most appreciated is offering college scholarships for our senior athletes. If you would like to help with the booster club moving forward, please let Coach Horn know ASAP. We will have a meeting Monday November 10 at 6:00pm along with a girls basketball parent meeting.

Our UIL Academics students braved the rain on Saturday and traveled to UT Austin to attend the Student Activities Conference. Here, they learned more about their individual UIL events, took practice exams, and explored sessions on theatre, STEM, speaking, writing, social studies, computer science, and more.
