🌟 Once again, we want to say a Big thank you to Rockell Bartoli and The Scholar Budget team for hosting The Scholarship Boot Camp at our school! 🎓✨ Students gained valuable insight on how to find, apply for, and win scholarships to help fund their education. 💡 From understanding the application process to hearing inspiring stories, this workshop gave our students the tools and confidence they need to pursue their college dreams. 💬 As one attendee shared: “The session was something that deeply helped me on how I can afford to go to college. These activities include:
Red Ribbon Week, Fall Fest, Veterans’ Day Program, Homecoming Parade and Coronation, and

Wins for our VB teams tonight against Colmesneil! Way to go girls! Before the varsity girls took the court, we had the privilege of honoring Senior, Kaitlynn Patterson, with her 1000th career assist. Coach Horn had this to say about her accomplishment.... "Last Tuesday against Coldspring, Kaitlynn Patterson reached an incredible milestone by recording her 1000th career assist. We are proud to honor her with a game ball to recognize this achievement. In volleyball, an assist is credited to a player who sets up a teammate for a kill, meaning the hitter scores directly off their pass. What makes this accomplishment even more impressive is that Kaitlynn played setter her freshman and sophomore season, but after playing as a hitter last year, she still managed to reach a milestone that most setters only achieve after four full years in the role. Her career has been nothing short of outstanding, helping lead her team to three district championships and advancing three rounds deep into the playoffs each year. This accomplishment is a true reflection of Kaitlynn's hard work, versatility, and commitment to her team's success." Beta club's service theme for September... We are collecting cases of bottled water, as well as Gatorade and Powerade for the Latexo Fire Department and for other Houston County Fire Departments. Donations can be brought to Latexo High School until September 23rd. Your help would be greatly appreciated! #excellenceisthetigerway
