UPDATE: With the current hazardous road conditions continuing through the night and lasting until tomorrow afternoon sometime, Latexo ISD is cancelling school tomorrow in the interest of our student and staff safety. School will resume Wednesday at the normal time. This will not affect our school calendar and students will not be required to make up these days.
Please stay safe and we will see everyone on Wednesday!

Due to forecasted weather and icy road conditions in our area, Latexo ISD will be closed on Monday, January 26th. At this time, school is expected to resume on Tuesday, January 27th at normal time. If we have further delays or information, we will send out another notification. Thank you for your understanding. Stay warm and safe! Latexo ISD Administration

Latexo ISD Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the weekend, Latexo ISD is actively monitoring weather conditions that could potentially impact school operations in the coming days. If a school delay or closure becomes necessary, official communication will be provided through the following channels:

• KIVY Radio

• Text messages, phone calls and/or emails through our school notification system.

**PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE WITH THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY TODAY**

• The Latexo ISD website and mobile app, which will always reflect the most up-to-date and official information

• The Latexo ISD Facebook page

At this time, no other action is required. We encourage all families to remain weather aware throughout the weekend and to continue monitoring official district communications for updates.

The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority, and any decisions regarding school operations will be made with that priority in mind.
Thank you for your continued support of Latexo ISD.

Sincerely,
Latexo Independent School District
