LIBRARY RULES

1. Our first and second grade students are allowed to have only one book checked out at a time. Students in the third through sixth grades may check out two books at a time. Books may be checked out for a period of two weeks.

2. Books that are due can only be renewed once. After a book is renewed, the student has two weeks until the book must be returned.

3. Students must take care of their book(s). If a library book is lost or damaged, the student who checked it out will have to pay for the book. The student will not be able to check out another book until the lost book has been paid for.

4. All library books will be picked up two times during the year. The books will be picked up at Christmas and the end of the year.

5. Students are responsible for the books they check out. They are asked not to loan books to their friends. They still have to pay for the lost book(s) even if someone else loses it.

6. Students are not allowed in the library without an adult.

7. Food and drinks are not allowed in the library.
