Principal's Message
Welcome to Latexo Elementary School, "Home of the Tigers!" The staff here is committed to academic excellence, as well as the social enrichment and emotional support for all of our students.
At Latexo, we're focused on everyone learning. We work together to give our students a rich and meaningful educational experience that fosters a lifelong love of learning. Our students work hard, set and reach goals, develop successful workplace skills, and leave here better prepared for life's challenges.
NEW this year we will be providing an afterschool program from 3:30-6:30 Monday through Thursday. Students will have the opportunity to work on classwork as well as be involved in some activities they would otherwise not be able to do, such as Karate, Music, Guitar, etc... We will be sending home parent surveys to get more ideas on ways we can improve this program. Please visit our website often to stay abreast of all that goes on at LES.
Our success as a campus, school district and community is in direct relation to the relationship between staff and parents in working together in guiding these students to be all that they can be. Our focus is on student learning and building good character in our student body.
Latexo is privileged to have a wonderful and supportive P.T.O. and we welcome volunteers at school activities, including, Field Days, and Open House. If you are interested in volunteering, please call our office and we will be glad to send a form for you to fill out and return.
